Well christmas is just around the corner, how did that happen the year has flown.. 
I have spent the week making cushions and aprons and over mitts, seems everyone wants handmade for christmas.
Must take some photos soon....

Visited "The Design exchange " market in Ballarat today, wow so much amazing talented people. Some truly lovely stuff for sale.

Will have to wait until next year for the next one, i hope to make some purchases next time....

Shrinking Ballarat silos

I have been fascinated lately with the wrecking of the Ballarat silos........  

over the past week or so the smaller of the two has been slowly.....

 and today just a pile of concrete.......

cant wait to see the big one and all the swinging of the wrecking ball......

 A customer that came to my work did say that the silos were built in 1966....... not that old really....

busy busy.....

another weekend comes to a  close and what have i managed to do.... one cushion..... and not much else.... except an enormousness amount of washing..... but the cushion is cute i think ..... purples with hand made fabric flowers... a bit of patchwork....

Well i think the weekends are going way to quick.....

spent this one making a couple of cute cushions

one with a doggie theme and the other garden, and some fun patchwork later.....

i used some by Fabric Loralie such cute designs and other assorted fabrics.....

Hanging Christmas fabric tree decoration

Fabric decoration, made from four contrasting Christmas design fabric, with some padding in the tree to give a bit of three dimensions, some cute red satin ribbon and beads.

This would lovely hanging on a wall, a christmas tree, a doorknob, window decoration anywhere that needs a christmas touch. Use as an outdoor christmas decoration.

Wedding Bunting Dilemma

well i have spent the past couple weeks in a dilemma over creating a wedding bunting/banner that was requested on etsy.....

I think i have finally finished just hope that it is OK

well will find out when they receive it i guess...

Color requested were navy blue and tangerine orange......

Patch and other assorted sewings.....

Patch is this crazy dog i sewed together...... made from two fabrics sewed together into a patchwork and then cut into the shape.....a work in progress.....approx one foot high more of a decorative cushion....

also got to thinking about christmas not too early i hope.... cute Aunt Grace Christmas by Judie Rothermel is used to make these

and creating another fabric flower bunting this time competed the spot one i stared a while ago, spots is the theme for these flags...

What a crazy house at the moment....

Well a busy week....

My daughter had her wisdom teeth out plus one that was growing out the roof of her mouth....

So she is having a rough time....but frozen peas are coming in very handy.....

I had a CT scan done on my hip, amazing scans they send you the disk with the images.... and yes stupid arthritis..... hips suck.......i think i may have to take out private health insurance......

I did make a bunting spotted and cute....

Spent this morning finishing off a cute baby toddler set.....

i made it so each piece is reversible......

so for the one outfit you  get four cute looks......

i think it works really well......

I might attempt to make another one in blue or yellow ......

First i have to share the sewing machine with my daughter so might just do the cutting today.......

My next project just happened....

i was thinking about how i have to go back to work tomorrow i have had two weeks of one of them with a cold..... so therefore i have to go back  to work with a nagging cough....

i spent part of the day just doodling.. 

i do that when i am bored ...

well the result is i created a couple of friends no idea where they came from but i think they are cute......
